Rob is an innovator and inventor in the Internet of Things (IoT) space, particularly in the area of machine-to-machine sensing, communications, wide area networking and enterprise software. As a global IoT juggernaut, he has applied his entrepreneurial skills across start-ups in both Australia and North America, from University-based commercialisation to large global corporates.
Business leadership comes naturally to Rob. He has extensive experience translating vision, strategy, technology and innovation into existing and new commercial revenue streams across a range of industries. These include Energy, Utilities, Telecommunications and Defence.
This experience has seen him drive the M2M monitoring and control systems for Gridsense US, perform as Asia Smart Grid leader for General Electric, and get inventive for Silicon Valley M2M software start-up Grid Net.
Since 2015 Rob has been Co-founder and CEO of NNNCo, building the company to be Australia’s largest LoRaWAN network provider and servicing some of Australia’s biggest utilities, cities and businesses. Not content to stay within Australia’s borders, NNNCo is now deploying IoT solutions to over 19 countries across three continents, and have no intention of stopping there.
