Meridian Energy
James France has worked as legal counsel for Meridian Energy since October 2023. He is part of a broader team responsible for corporate and commercial legal as well as regulatory and government relations functions. He holds an honours degree in law and a bachelor’s in chemistry.
Before joining Meridian, James worked as a construction lawyer. He has a keen interest in decarbonisation and working with others in the energy sector to deliver net zero at the lowest cost to consumers.
